Tuesday:
This morning you will drive through the eastern part of Guatemala, via the states of El Progreso and Zacapa to arrive at the archaeological site of Quirigua. Some of the most interesting and beautiful Mayan stellae are found at Quirigua in the state of Izabal. You will continue to the border with Honduras, after immigration formalities, you will drive to Copan for overnight accomodations.
Wednesday:
After breakfast, you will visit the archaeological site of Copan, one of the most fascinating Mayan ruin sites. You will be allowed to explore and marvel at the beautiful stellae and majestic temples, including a complete ball court. In the afternoon you will return to Guatemala City.
